I produced Sunset Series, a collection of ten short-sleeve collared shirts, as an experiment for myself in a different approach to making clothes. I made each shirt from scratch, with the first one being a fit sample and a nine-shirt assembly-line style for the rest. I then dip dyed each shirt in a dye solution in a plastic storage bin and painted them on wood boards on the floor in my parents garage in Arlington, MA and my patio in Miami, FL. It’s nothing glamorous, it’s a completely new thing for me, and its been a ton of fun to put these together.

Each shirt in the Sunset Series is based on a particular sunset I have seen over my lifetime and been able to get a picture of. Ten different sunsets in seven different locations, each with their own color scheme and their own story for me to share. The buyer of each shirt will receive a note explaining the significance of the time and place along with their new piece.
